Our corporate policy is based on an in-depth understanding of the just how compatible the environment and the economy can be. One of our aims is to establish environmental protection as a fixed component of our corporate culture and avoid any negative impacts our company may have on the environment. We know how to use natural resources in moderation and we place great value on the use of efficient processes during the manufacture of our products. This not only makes good financial sense, it also helps the environment. The selection of materials plays a major role in this respect: as well as focusing on long-lasting materials and high quality, we also make sure that we use recyclable raw materials.
As we live in times where natural resources are dwindling, we use these resources sparingly and sensibly in everything we do – starting with the development and design of the product and continuing right through to manufacturing processes. When developing products, we place great importance on the topic of energy efficiency. We also ensure that we achieve a good balance between saving energy and producing optimal lighting effects. We understand the importance of light quality and therefore use electronic operating devices in our lights, as well as efficient fluorescent lamps or LED modules. Furthermore, we offer suitable lighting control systems for every field of application. After all, one of the most important requirements when it comes to the design of lighting concepts is the installation of dynamic lighting controls; an optimal solution in this respect is the use of dimmable electronic ballasts.
We therefore meet our customers’ lighting requirements using the optimal lighting solution for their situation while ensuring the best possible energy-saving potential. Another way of reducing energy costs is via daylight and presence sensors. With these, lights are only turned on when a person is in the room, and artificial light is only used if the existing daylight is not sufficient.
Quality
We have high quality standards. This is why we manufacture exclusively in Germany – and this also helps to keep our transportation routes as short as possible, thus reducing any negative impact on the environment.
